Your biggest advantage is this that you will know whether the products they have shown in the product list are all available with them or not. If you order 15 products and get 12 or more from the first order then there are possibility company maintain their stock at good level and you will not get product shortage. But if you get 10 or less products then the situation is not good. 
Keep in mind that the first company you finalize, your name will be associated in the market with that. Later, no matter how many companies you take, people will know you only from your first company.

Economic Dependency:

Whatever money you have collected to start the work. But once you start, you have to struggle financially. One, no company will give you credit initially, second, you will have to invest money in the market. Marketing & sales cost, credit to pharmacies, daily expenses, marketing inputs etc. will also go from your pocket. 
You have to put money everywhere. Not expecting much return for a few months. That is why experts say that if you can sell something to 100 people, then start it with the first 25 people. When everything is going right there, then move forward in your field. Launching on a large scale at once can increase your problems. So, start step wise step.
If you fail to raise money from market at any level, then all the investment made earlier can also get sunk.

Choosing the wrong products:

You guess that your doctor may prescribe any product because he/she prescribes more of this type of products of another company. They may not be able to write this product for you. May be they write another unique product for you. Your products selection is very important for you. You should know which products you can get prescribed by a doctor. Only after that start working in the market. It should not happen that you have to make double investment. If possible, try to start with the latest molecule so that there is less competition. Dependence on others:

Most of time we don't get successful because we start by relying on others. Whether started alone or in partnership. In both cases, dependency on others is a sign of its failure even before it starts.

We started and stopped within 3 months of starting. The reason was clear that we were dependent on a person who was the medical representative. We had experience in our work but we could not convert it into a team and failed. Whenever you start, start it on your own and not on others. In partnership, everyone should work as a team for the benefit of the entire team.
