What is Ayush?

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of treatment originated more than 5000 years ago. Ayurveda word is made-up of two words – Ayur and Veda. ‘Ayur’ means Life and ‘Veda’ means Knowledge. It is mostly practiced in South Asian region.

What is Siddha system of medicines?

The Siddha system of medicine is mainly practiced in the Southern part of India. It is one of the earliest traditional medicine systems in the world which treats not only the body but also the mind and the soul. The word Siddha has its origin in the Tamil word Siddhi which means "an object to be attained" or "perfection" or "heavenly bliss".

Siddha system is based upon believe of five basic elements i.e. earth, water, fire, air and sky. Herbal, animal and inorganic chemical compounds are used in siddha practice for treating diseases.

What is Homeopathy?

Homoeopathic system of medicine was founded by Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. It is based upon believe that ‘Like cures Like” and ‘Law of minimum dose’.

Like Cure Like: This theory states that a disease can be cured by a substance that produces similar symptoms in healthy people.

Law of minimum dose: This theory states that the lower the dose of the medication, the greater will be its effectiveness.
